2022 – 2023 Year in Review
We used the Land Trust money to hire classroom aides to work with our students in the areas of language arts, math and technology. The aides work with students who need extra assistance in language arts and math, as well as working with the majority of the class so that the classroom teacher can focus on working with small groups of students. We used some of the money to purchase new computer intervention/extension programs to be used by students in the classroom.
We received approximately $55,000 for the 2022 – 2023 school year.
The School Community Council is the body that helps make goals for the school and decides how the money should be spent. Please consider serving East Elementary School’s Community Council. Elections will be held at the beginning of the 2024 – 2025 school year.
